What is calorie flexing and why do we use it

Benefits of calorie flexing

✨ Gives you the freedom and flexibility to eat like normal on birthdays, vacations, holidays and other events

✨ Helps protect your thyroid, hormones, & adrenals, and prevents your metabolism from slowing down

✨ Provides more options in the quantity and types of foods you can eat while dieting

How to Calculate Your calorie flex

Use the below formula to determine how many calories you should be eating weekly:

[Current Bodyweight X 11] X 7 = Your WEEKLY Calorie Intake

STEP 1:

Take your current bodyweight in pounds, and multiply by 11. That will be your DAILY calorie number.

STEP 2:

Multiply your DAILY calorie number by 7 to get your WEEKLY calorie number.

STEP 3:

To create your calorie flex, you'll want to split the week into structured high-calorie and low-calorie days.

This might look like 2 high-calories days and 5 low-calorie days. Or 3 high-calorie days and 4 low-calorie days.

Creating your flex will require some math on your part... but the most important part is that your WEEKLY calorie total of both high- and low-calorie days still equal the WEEKLY calorie amount that you calculated above!

*Note: The split between your low and high days should range between 200-600 calories.

P.S. If your daily calories are greater than 2,300 calories, just use 2,300 as your daily calorie number to calculate your weekly calorie number and your calorie flex.
